A little ‘get to know me’?

I’m so glad you’re here!

I’m Ausra. I’m the person in the photo and the creative+ head of Ausra Creates. I’m a brand and surface pattern designer and illustrator, creative dreamer and maker.

Behind the scenes I’m also a mom, a wife, a real living person with so many ideas and not enough time to execute them all. I save my energy for the best ones, like those you have seen here. If I birth it into the world, it’s my best work.

I love bold, unique and beautiful design. I dream up flowing lines, nature, colour and element of surprise. I try to infuse detail & special touch to every piece I create.

How did it started? I’ve loved art since I remember. I laid my foundations during intense 6 year course in secondary where I studied fine arts - graphics, painting, live drawing, history of art, pottery, visual arts. After graduation I took a different direction to explore business studies. Only few years later, in my twenties, love for art caught me back and I’ve discovered and studied graphic design. Since thenI have never looked back.

In the beginning of 2024 I took Immersion - a surface pattern design course and graduated. Since then I’m stepping into surface pattern design. I’m learning heaps and enjoying this journey. I’m growing love for drawing repeats and challenging myself to various techniques.

I’ve been designing for brands for over a decade now. But I’ve founded Ausra Creates studio just over a good year ago - and I’m so glad I did!

You know why? I get to work create the beauty I see and share through my work. I get to work with business owners like you - who rise up early or can’t sleep at night because they are so excited about what they’re doing! People who dream and believe in something huge and invite me into the vision. People who tirelessly craft beautiful clothing, homes and brands.

Everyday I get to be more creative. More fun. More … weird. (You know, the good kind). I love all things arty and if I could just design and create things with my hands all day, I would.

I embrace being different. And reaching for things that scare me. Because if you don’t, you never know what’s out there and if you can. And I want same for you and your brand - to reach, to grow, to be beautiful, unique and successful.
